    These instruments have nothing whatsoever with an original Aboriginal didgeridoo. They are mass-produced in Indonesia and as mentioned are made from a notorius cracker Bamboo. An aboriginal didgeridoo is mostly from termite eaten log -brach of a tree (eucaliptus) which Aboriginal crafstman works into an instrument.

    I strongly advise against such terrible instruments and encourage those interested to go find an authentic stick for their own satisfaction as well as the respect for the true owner of this wonderful instrument. Avoid mass produced sticks. Respect Aboriginal men.

    I ordered this item as a gift, and I have to say I’m pretty surprised with the quality of it. It’s a great gift for someone who is interested in didgeridoos, though perhaps not really seeking to play it professionally yet. The painting on the instrument really adds to the exotic quality, and the material it is made of seems like it’ll withstand a lot of wear-and-tear. This is definitely a great buy for someone who’s ready for a neat hobby!
